For example, you can easily order a debt collection register extract online and will usually receive it via email within 24 hours. How can I change the language of the SwissID App?
By default, the SwissID App adopts the system language of your mobile phone. This means that if your mobile phone is set to German, you will also use the SwissID App in German. If a language setting is not supported, the SwissID App selects English as the default language. Currently, the following languages are supported: German, French, Italian, English.
I lost my mobile phone with the SwissID App or it was stolen, what can I do?

I have a new mobile phone. How can I use the SwissID App on the new mobile phone?
If you want to use two-factor authentication with the SwissID App on another mobile phone, start the setup process on the new mobile phone and then enable two-factor authentication.
Can I use the SwissID App on more than one mobile phone?
For security reasons, two-factor authentication with the SwissID App can only be activated on a single mobile phone.
Can I also use the SwissID App abroad?
The SwissID App can also be used abroad - provided your mobile phone is connected to WLAN or a mobile network. Please note that your mobile operator may charge additional costs for a mobile data connection with roaming.
I cannot log in with the SwissID App, what can I do?
If logging in with the SwissID App doesn’t work for any reason, you can log in using an SMS code instead.
If you don’t receive a login request on your mobile phone when using SwissID to log in, please check the following points:
- Your mobile phone is connected to WLAN or a mobile network.
- You have logged in with your existing SwissID account or created a new SwissID account in the SwissID App.
- The e-mail address displayed in the SwissID App is the same as the e-mail address you want to use to log in.
- For Android users: You have installed the latest version of the Google Play Store on your mobile phone.
- You have enabled two-factor authentication in the app.
- You have installed the latest version of the SwissID App.
- You are using a mobile phone with the Android or iOS operating system.
- The operating system you are using is up to date.
- The “push messages” for the SwissID App are activated on your mobile phone.
- The options “Power saving mode” and “Battery optimization” for the SwissID App are not activated in the settings of your mobile phone.
If the problem persists, please disable two-factor authentication both in the SwissID App and in your SwissID account on swissid.ch.
I no longer want to use the SwissID App for two-factor authentication. What should I do?
Two-factor authentication is not deactivated automatically when you uninstall the SwissID App. If you no longer want to use two-factor authentication with the SwissID App, you can deactivate this option in your SwissID account at swissid.ch. You will still be able to use the other two-factor authentication processes to log in securely.
I want to delete the SwissID App from my mobile phone. How can I activate it again if I need to?
If you use the SwissID Sign service for electronic signatures, you’ll need to revoke your certificate before deleting the app. You can do this in your SwissID account (swissid.ch) in the “Signature service” menu. A new certificate will be issued when you set up the SwissID App again.

eAMT is a Swiss online service that offers a convenient process for ordering digital extracts from the debt collection register. Thanks to our partnership, SwissID users whose identity has been verified online can order the extract easily and conveniently, without having to scan their identity documents or fill in any long forms. With just a few clicks, SwissID users can have their extract from the debt collection register sent to them by email in digital form.
