Which identification documents are accepted for the identity verification?
Depending on the type of identification process and the purpose of this process, we support different identity documents. Below you find an overview of which documents are supported in which processes and for which purpose.
Please note that on account of regulations in Switzerland, SwissSign is not permitted to issue certificates for the countries listed under Export restrictions and therefore cannot grant access to SwissID Sign either.
