New S/MIME certificate profiles on Pre-Prod from 19.05.2025 on

The new certificate profiles for S/MIME (Secure E-Mail) will be available in our pre-production environment from 19.05.2025 on and can be tested.

In June 2025, we will go live with the newly prescribed certificate profiles for S/MIME (secure e-mail) in our production environment.

We would like to point out that on 19.05.2025 these will be available on the pre-production environment first and can be tested by customers with pre-production access.

Background

As announced in the newsletter regarding this topic, the regulatory body for public key certificates on the Internet, the CA/Browser has changed the specifications for S/MIME certificates. Therefore, these must be adapted. You will find further details on this topic here:
